BBD Boom’s Emma Lynch Nominated for Venus Awards!

We are incredibly proud at BBD Boom to be able to say that our very own Emma Lynch has been nominated for multiple awards as part of the prestigious Venus Awards!

Set up in 2009, the awards celebrate working women across 10 regions in the UK, and have been dubbed by Channel 4 as the ‘Working women’s Oscars’. Pretty exciting, huh!

There are 15 categories including Influential Woman, Small Business, Employer of the Year and Business Mother of the Year.

Founder, Tara Howard says that the Venus Awards were set up to celebrate women:

“We strongly believe that by recognising, shouting about and honouring the remarkable women we deal with every day, we’re doing our part to change the world too.”

The semi-finalist announcement is taking place on the 24th July, with the finalist announcement taking place on 28th September and the award ceremony happening on the 23rd November – so stay tuned to hear how she gets on!

We may be biased, but we think she deserves to win them all!
