Welcome back to our HubSpot Product Spotlight! In this blog, we’ll explore some of the Solutions Teams’ favourite HubSpot updates from the last few months. Ready? Let’s dive in!
Marketing Hub
Marketing Tasks
Whereas it was previously only possible to record tasks within Sales Hub, HubSpot now allows marketing teams to record what work needs to be done, link it with the assets you’re building and campaigns you’re launching and track progress within your team using the new Tasks feature.
Ready to start tracking your progress? Head to Planning & Strategy under the Marketing navigation in your portal, then choose either Campaigns or Calendar. Here, you’ll be able to create and view tasks, as well as assign them to specific members of your team and set a due date.
If your marketing team is struggling to keep track of their work, this tool is for you!

Insights and Data Tools
Deal Create Attribution
If you’re interested in measuring which sources, assets and interactions had the greatest impact on generating deals, then look no further! HubSpot’s new Deal Create attribution tool will allow you to do just that.
Looking and feeling very similar to the current revenue attribution report feature, Deal Create also includes new features, such as a refreshed interface and the ability to toggle between deal revenue and amount of deals created. You’ll be able to find the answers to questions regarding which assets and campaigns created the most deals, which asset titles were last touched before a deal was created and so much more.

Conversation Intelligence
It’s fair to say that customer and prospect conversations are the richest sources of actionable insights, yet this data is often never recorded! As call volumes increase, it can feel impossible to source these insights… and that’s why HubSpot created Conversation Intelligence.
This new functionality gives you real-time insights into your team’s calls with automatic recording, transcription and call analysis. You’ll be able to coach your team to success without having to manually find call recordings, as well as gaining deeper visibility into your customer conversations on one platform.
Want to try it out? Navigate to Settings > Objects > Activities and enable Analysis and Transcription. Never worry about manually sourcing insights again!
Available on: Sales Hub Enterprise and Service Hub Enterprise
Other Updates
Conversation-based Workflows
Want to trigger automation based on conversations you’ve had with your website visitors? Well, now you can! With HubSpot’s new conversation-based workflows functionality, you’ll be able to enable triggers based on contact properties, conversations properties, and soon, ticket properties!
Ready to get started? When creating a new workflow, scroll down and choose the Conversation-based option. You’ll now be able to set up reminders and trigger custom notifications based on your conversations, send follow-up or closing emails to customers, and create tasks, tickets and more!
Available on: Service, Sales and Marketing Pro & Enterprise
New Calling Widget
Place calls without effort with HubSpot’s all-new calling widget. With a reduced number of actions required to start a call, and now having the ability to change the call settings within a contacts’ CRM record, you’ll be able to manage your calls with ease. Not only this, but you can customise the size of the widget and move it around your screen so it won’t obscure important background interactions.
After all, the easier it is to manage your calls, the better you’ll be able to provide a delightful experience and increase your efficiency, right?
